[ DESIGN TOOLS ]
Two design tools used (connectivity and immersion) facilitate the mapping of this territory upon the collective public cognition. Connectivity concerns the spatial organization; it is the linkage between the old and new town. Immersion concerns the public cognition. The way to absorb the crowd by approaching the “lost place” as plateaus of interaction between programmed and non-programmed uses to encourage diverse experience of everyday life.

[ MOVEMENT ]
The design of the interactive paths are based on the concept of movement, influenced by the initial use of the moat. It is a place of flow structured by the transverse and longitudinal movement. Moving between the limits -boundaries is linked to the concept of pauses, vacuity, generally it is the axis of observation. On the other hand longitudinal movement expresses flow and shifts the human body to motion, it can therefore be translated into the axis of action.
